Group of Nations Will Rule The World
Daniel showed King Nebuchadnezzar the image he saw in his dream represented kingdoms of the world. Daniel said, the head of gold represented Babylon, the silver represented the Medes and the Persians, the brass represented Greece, and the iron legs represented Rome. Next we have the feet and the toes as mentioned in Daniel chapter 2 verse 41. “And wheras thou sawest the feet and toes, part of the potter’s clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided: but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, for as much as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of play, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken, (or brittle). And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
We see there are two more kingdoms. The first kingdom represents the feet of iron mixed with clay and the 10 toes. We know the iron represented Rome so the old Roman Empire somehow is going to be involved. If you look at the map we posted in our last post, on this blog, you will see a map of the old Roman Empire.
The question is, who is the clay? Looking at the map, we noticed most of those nations are ruled by kings or monarchs. If the clay is brittle, does that mean it has a different ruling structure? Could it be democracy? Could it be a republic? In a republic the people rule.
And the second kingdom to come is the kingdom Jesus Christ sets up. God’s kingdom does not end.
Regardless, we know there is a coming ruler of the world that is made up of Nations. Some have said the ten toes represent 10 kingdoms. Some have said Daniel chapter 7 has a lot of similarities. Daniel was told to seal up the information the God revealed to him. God unsealed the information to John the Apostle in the book of Revelation and explains to John the vision.
One of the reasons we know the Bible is true is because everything predicted, over thousands of years, by different writers, all came true. Rest assured, everything else the Bible has predicted will come true. Have a blessed day.
