Baptist? Pentacostal?

For years, if you would have said spirit life or spiritual life, Baptists would turn you off or want nothing to do with you. Why? Because they would identify you as one being in the Pentacostal  movement. Pentacostals knew about the spirit life but they focused mainly on speaking in tongues and healing and forgot about the other 7 gifts the Holy Spirit gives. (See our chart in a previous post).

Pentacostals seem to have been so wrapped up in tongues and healing they forgot about soul winning. Baptists were focused on soul winning but don’t teach about the Holy Spirit or the spirit life. Baptists would focus on soul winning but then they would put a new believer under the law or their law of legalism. Many times, the new believer gets discouraged and quit on walking the Christian walk.

Neither Baptists or Pentacostals were addressing the spiritual warfare. This is not a knock against either, don’t misunderstand. Friends, we are in a war. A spiritual war. Believers need to learn what are the sides and how do we fight effectively?

The war is between good and evil. This war has been going on for 6000 years. The prize? The soul of each person. Remember, your soul is your mind, your will and your emotions. Satan wants as many souls as he can get and if he can’t get your soul because you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, then Satan wants to mess you and your life up in war. Satan’s reward? Eternity in hell & the lake of fire with him.

God wants your soul too. But God offers you love, peace, kindness, gentleness and eternal life with him through Jesus Christ. But God has given mankind a freewill. God wants you to choose him and his side of your own free will. God’s reward or prize? Eternal life in heaven with him where there is no more pain, suffering or heartache. The choice is yours to make.

So let’s get into how to recognize the war and battles, how to fight back and how our spirit, soul and body have a role. That is where we will pick this up next time.

God is faithful

This is a war of liberty. We Satanists and Satan fight for liberty to free humanity from slavery to superstition and tyranny. In the war we are on the good path, the slave-makers of Jesus are the ones who we oppose in common good cause to prevent on taking into the evil of slavery.

You talk about humanity is in slavery, you are right, and it isn’t Jesus who puts mankind into bondage/slavery, it. Is Satan who binds, 2 Timothy 2:26 KJV
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
      John 10:10 KJV
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
