How Satan Traps Part 1
Isn’t it ironic that when I said – “So let’s get into how to recognize the war and battles, how to fight back and how our spirit, soul and body have a role. That is where we will pick this up next time.” at the end of the last post, a comment from a satanist comes in?
Look at 2 Timothy 2:26 KJV
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
A snare is like a trap. It is designed to grab it’s prey and hold them in a trap. The animal or prey fight to break free from the trap. They might fight for hours or days or even weeks to break free. The result? One of three things:
1. They break free.
2. They die.
3. They surrender.
Satan lays traps to trick people and he has been doing that for a long time. Our short 60, 70, 80 or even 90 years does not even compare to how long Satan has been tricking people.
Remember Luke 8:11-15 Jesus tells us Satan steals the truth out of our heart.
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
They on the rock are they , which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
So how do we handle fighting a battle with someone we don’t see? How did Jesus fight? Matthew 4, It is written, then quoted out loud scripture.
We are going to get into this in this series. Hope you will follow along.
