Warning 1

My focus was on how angels interact with mankind, like in the book of Daniel.  But God sent me in a different direction today. One of the future roles of believers,  the saints, is judgment.

1 Corinthians 6:2 KJV “Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?”

1 Corinthians 6:3 KJV “Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

As I looked at the many verses explaining how the saints are going to judge,  I was asking God how do we know how we are to judge?  The Lord showed me

Psalm 149:5-9 KJV “Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
[6] Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
[7] To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
[8] To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
[9] To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord .”

We know from Hebrews 4:12 the two-edged sword is the word of God. We are to use the word of God to judge.

Unlike courts around the world and unlike the American courts and the Supreme Court changing laws that were laid down in America based on the word of God, God’s word does not change. God always give warnings before judgment and God sends his people to warn the heathen. As the body of believers,  God’s people,  we need to sound the alarm and warn people now while there is time for them to repent and turn to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and salvation.

It is not that we don’t like certain people it is about obeying what God says, not man, not a court’s decision. Know ye not that we shall judge the world, as Paul said. Which brings me to Warning 1. The Word gay, when I was growing up gay meant  happy and those who committed crimes against nature were sodomites.  They arrest those engaged in sodomy with children and call them sex offenders but miraculously, once they grow up they call them gay?

Sodomy is a crime against nature and God. Read about it in Genesis 19, and
1 Kings 14:24 KJV “And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.” Do you see what God did with the sodomites? Cast them out. And Romans 1:26-32 KJV
“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
[27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
[28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
[29] Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
[30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
[31] Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
[32] Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

Just because a court changes laws to go with the crowd or the world,  does not make it so. You and I need to stand up for the truth, God’s word and there may be a price we have to pay but we need to decide if we are going to warn people or hide under a bushel. We need to quote scripture and let God convict hearts. We are to judge matters as Paul says in 1 Corinthians 6 so are you unworthy to judge these matters?

    Amen! In a world so focused on “Thou shalt not judge” while ignoring the context within which that phrase was used, it is a breath of fresh air to read from one that know his or her position in the Massiah!

      Amen Thinking Loud. Yes, many say we are not to judge but clearly that is, in context, the motive of one’s heart, not their actions. We will judge the world and the angels and God is giving us time to practice. Thanks for your comment.
