Below is posted Revelation 7. Look for topics and key words and mark them down on a piece of paper.
Revelation 7:1-17 KJV ” And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”
We will look at Revelation 7 and do the chapter 7 quiz next time. Until next time.
Revelation 6 Quiz Answers. Let’s look at some interesting points in Revelation 6 and see how God tells us answers.
We saw from the beginning of this chapter the Lamb (Jesus Christ) opens the sealed book. Where is Jesus when he opens the seals of this book? In heaven, not on earth.
We know Jesus is in heaven when the rest of the seals are opened so the person mentioned in the first seal clearly, is not Jesus but someone else. Maybe the antichrist?
1st Seal – Sends a Person – This person starts conquering. Well, he can not conquer in heaven so he conquers on earth.
2nd Seal – Takes Away Peace – The opening of this seal takes peace away from the earth. It shows this seal has power and power to take away peace in the whole world on earth.
3rd Seal – Releases Famine – When you look at the words in this seal opening you see two interesting words used, ‘measure’ and ‘penny’. A measure is like saying a portion in this case. It is like a handful for a meal, a portion.
The word “penny” used here is very interesting. A penny is an American coin value. Some might say the King James is an English bible so using the word penny makes sense. But that would not be the case. You see the King James bible came out of England and the word for penny in England is “pence” not penny. Other countries have “pennies” but they are called pence, shilling, Greek drachma, Roman denarius, French franc, Mexican pesos and so forth. America is the nation that uses the word penny.
4th Seal – Releases Death & Hell – Death and hell kill one fourth of the population on earth. How does it kill one fourth of the world? With the sword, with hunger, with death and with the beasts of the field. Currently, the world population is about 7 billion. This seal opening means about 1.750 or almost 2 billion people will die on earth in a short period of time. And these people will die from the sword, from hunger, death and from the beasts of the field.
Imagine the newspaper headlines – Bears, Wolves, Cayote, Bobcats and Lions kill and eat 500,000 this month.
5th Seal – Shows Souls – Shows “souls” of them slain for the word of God and their testimony.
6th Seal – Shakes the heaven (1st heaven) and the earth because great earthquakes happen, the sun turns black and the moon is a blood moon. And as to timing – even as a fig tree casteth her untimely fruit).
Plus, notice every mountain and island get moved out of their place. The world’s geography is going to change.
As Revelation 6:17 says, The great day of his wrath is come. Whose wrath? The Lamb’s wrath. Are believers going to go through the Lamb’s wrath?
1 Thessalonians 5:9 KJV “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,”
And look at the rest of that –
1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 KJV ” For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.”
Believers know the word sleep here means those who die that are believers, in Christ.
No, God has not appointed believers, true believers, to wrath. The heathen world has an appointment with the Lamb regarding wrath. Believers have an appointment with the Lamb regarding what they did with the life God gave them. What they did for the Lamb, Jesus Christ.
Remember, the 7th Seal is not opened right away. And as to the penny and famine, if famine is coming to America one would ask how could that be so? If America’s farm land was destroyed through God shaking heaven and earth, through wars, or pestilence and even through genetically modifying food, you could see how famine will come to America.
Remember, every time Israel turned away from God and his word God brought trouble to them and their land, why, to get them to repent and come back to Him. Government run schools have indoctrinated children with anti God teachings for 40 plus years now. America has been throwing God out and turning away from our founding roots. We need to repent and stand against ungodliness not get politically correct. If we don’t we will be invaded, have wars on our soil and suffer famine because God is a righteous God.
We will look at Revelation 7 next time.

Next time, post, we will look at what scripture says about these quiz questions and start exploring Revelation chapter 7. Until next time.
As we start Revelation 6, it would be a good idea to document the seals. Then later add the bowls and the trumpets. Revelation 6 starts chronically events and starts laying out time lines and people, including kings of the earth.
Revelation 6 starts to set straight some false teachings going around today. Such as, I heard a very well known pastor who has written several books say on national TV the other day, “The tribulation is not the wrath of God, it is the wrath of Satan.” Revelation 6:16,17 clearly shows that pastor is wrong. Those verses say very clearly, it is the wrath of ” the Lamb “. Always believe God and his word over man. Any man.
The Revelation chapter 6 quiz will challenge your mind and your doctrine. But stick with God and his word and you can not fail. We will post the quiz in our next post.
So below is Revelation 6 KJV. You will notice only 6 of the 7 seals are opened in this chapter. The 7th seal is not opened until two chapters later in chapter 8:1. Why? I believe God helps us chronicle events. That is why I say start listing the events in the order God gives us. Per God’s word, your time line will be correct. Here we go.
Revelation 6:1-17 KJV ” And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were , should be fulfilled.
 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”
In the book of Revelation we notice John mentions things he sees but what he sees sometimes represent something different than what John sees. An example would be, John saw 7 candlesticks but the Lord tells John the 7 candlesticks represent 7 churches. Also, John saw 7 stars in the Lord’s right hand. John is told the 7 stars represent angels, angels to the 7 churches.
This shows us to understand what God is saying, there is not only literal meanings, but also spiritual meaning. A way to understand this is looking at the parable of the sower. Luke 8:5-8 Jesus is speaking to everyone using real examples of real life “things”. But the example has a spiritual meaning too and Jesus explains the spiritual meaning to his disciples in Luke 8:9-18.
So in Revelation we see real life “things” stars and candlesticks. But these “things” have a spiritual meaning for God’s people to understand. We dig through scripture to understand the spiritual meaning so we can understand what the Lord is telling us.
As we do the Revelation 5 Quiz, let us keep in mind there could be 2, 3 or even 4 meanings to something and proper application unlocks keys in scripture. One key is who is the Lord speaking to or speaking about.
Revelation 5 Quiz

– 3 In what hand was the person holding something?

– 7 Prayers of saints are stored in heaven, true or false.

Until next time.
Revelation 5 is a short 14 verses. Notice the characters mentioned in this chapter. We read of one sitting on the throne in heaven, we also see the Lamb who was slain and now alive in heaven. The Lamb takes a book out of the hand of the one sitting on the throne. A “strong” angel is mentioned along with the 24 elders.
Notice “prayers of the saints” are kept in vials. Also notice the prayers of only the saints, not the prayers of unbelievers. So let’s look at Revelation 5.
Revelation 5:1-14 KJV ” And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.”
Until next time.
