Records
Did you ever ask why you keep the records you keep? People record their life’s possessions for insurance reasons. They record their family history, put family genealogies together and even write books to record events, history, news, sports information and many more. Did you ever ask why everything is recorded?
When you think back to America’s history you see it was recorded – the Bible was taught in “public schools” , there was school prayer, the Bible was the law of the land. Then some judges come along and decide after 239 years all the records of our nation’s history no longer matter. So these judges decide to change the laws and set a new set of records. These new records try to erase or ignore all previous records. So what good are the records from the first 239 years?
God records things and he too keeps records. God says he recorded his name in places Exodus 20 2224 and God has recorded his name in Jerusalem and given Jerusalem to Israel and David is to be over Israel 2 Chronicles 6:6 yet today – the world is trying to steal Jerusalem from Israel.
As Moses is getting ready to leave his earthly body, his final instructions to the people are made clear in the last chapters of the book of Deuteronomy. Moses tells the people to keep God’s laws, God’s Commandments, God’s statutes written in this book and to turn to the Lord God with all your heart and soul. Then Moses mentions a record Deuteronomy 30:19 Heaven and Earth record. So why and how does Heaven and Earth record?
Scripture teaches there are records of thy Fathers Ezra 4:15 and even the book of records of The Chronicles. What is a Chronicle? According to Webster a Chronicle is a historical account of facts or events disposed in the order of time. Unlike writing history, Chronicles lay out specific times, dates and events. History records America’s founding fathers but a Chronicle lays out specific dates, times and events and an order of time.
From a writer’s standpoint, you have those who like to write poetry, novels, manuals, film/movies, musicals, documentaries. As bloggers, we all have our niche. Some may write just to see their words in print. Others love story telling, some are teachers, some share experiences, some write to seek help or cooking or raising children, and some write how to articles. Then you have the writers like me. Yes, I went to college for journalism but my goal back then was to be a newspaper reporter. I wasn’t interested in TV or radio I wanted print. When Journalism class went into “creative writing” to engage the reader in a story of fantasy, I left school. So I focused on my love for music and learned to play the organ.
I don’t like or read novels for the most part. I have read maybe four or five novels over the past 40 years. I’m just not a fan of novels. I want facts not make-believe. I want to deal in truth not fantasy. So I considered technical writing and later learned I was more interested in documentaries. And not just any documentary but documenting The Chronicles of God’s word.
You have heard of The Chronicles of Narnia, a land a place. Chronicles document specific dates, times and events of the place called Narnia. So documenting God’s word helps reveal God, his character, his mercy and love and yes, even his anger and what gets him angry. Documenting Gods word opens a realm we no little about, the spirit realm, heaven, hell, eternity.
God keeps Records, books and Chronicles and unlike the nation’s changing their history, erasing their Chronicles, God does not. So what is the purpose of God’s records? Why does God have a record of books? We will pick it up here next time.
IS
One thought for this holiday weekend. Did you ever think about the different types of love? You love a husband or wife with one kind of love.
You love your children with a different kind of love. You love your parents, your brothers and sisters with a different love. You love vacation spots, you love a certain song or kind of music. You love your job. You love your pets. All the types of love are many. What about God?
When you think of God, it is not that God gives love. God is love. 1 John 4:16 – God IS love.
U – Turn
As mentioned last time, the things in this world are not life. And what is going on around you right now is not your life. Your life is in you. So your house, car, “things” are all things of the world, not your life.
I use to think if I had a descent car, nice home and had the money to buy what I wanted I would be considered successful and be happy. As a competitor, I always pushed myself to get to the top. Do the best I could honestly, to move up the corporate ladder. Then after I got saved I started asking, then what? God showed me it wasn’t about “things” or position or striving for masteries of the world.
When your family watches you pushing up the corporate ladder and having some success and then you stop and go in a different direction, they think you are crazy. What’s wrong with you? How can you go from this to that? What, do you want to be poor? And believe me, sometimes I struggled with how do I pay the bills trying to do things God’s way.
Then God showed me, I was not the one paying the bills. He was opening doors and teaching me to depend on him. It is not natural for man to trust someone he can not see, touch or hear in this physical world. Just like Ephesians 2 says, Ephesians 2:1-3 KJV “And you hath he quickened , who were dead in trespasses and sins;
[2] Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
[3] Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”
This world this earthly realm we physically live in is not life. A good example may be the caterpillar. As a caterpillar he is in a body that walks the earth. He gets food and water, is clothed in a body that is bound to walking the earth. But when the caterpillar spins a cacoon and bursts forth as a butterfly, he is no longer bound to the earth, he can fly.
Although we are bound in a body that is land-locked to this earth, one day we are going to shed our body and fly. So we are not to “mind” earthly things, things bound to the earth. We are to fly and how we do this is not in our flesh, our earthly body, but in the spirit of our mind. Ephesians 4:23 KJV “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;”
Life is not in our body but in our spirit and our mind. And when you build up your inward man with God and his word your outward man dies to the thoughts, cares and worries of the world, the earthly realm.
One of Satan’s tricks is to play head games with you. Paul addressed this in Colossians when he said, Colossians 1:21 KJV “And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled”. When we do something wrong in the flesh, the earthly realm, Satan starts condemning us in our mind. Satan may even use some of our family or friends to help him condemn us, anyone remember Job’s friends?
But Paul said in Colossians God has reconciled us, made us permanent friends through the cross of Jesus Christ. The cross brought mankind back to God for all those who believe. So in your mind you think God is mad at you and you are an enemy of God because of your wicked works. But God says he reconciled or made us always friends with him by the cross.
So what can shake believers? Their mind. 2 Thessalonians 2:2 KJV “That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.”
I never knew I could control the thoughts that came into my mind until about 5 or 6 years ago. I thought if something popped into my mind it was real, truthful, right. Then I recalled sometimes when I would pray these terrible thoughts would pop into my head. Now I know that was Satan’s workers trying to get me off my prayer.
It saddens me to see so many people, Christians, work so hard to obtain earthly wealth and things. Their conversations are always about earthly things. The next party, new car, remodeling of their home, vacation, cook outs, clothes, school, and on and on. Yes, God gives us things to enjoy but we should be helping others. Showing people Jesus Christ, explaining freedom is in the mind and spirit not the world. People are going to hell and we are discussing the next church program? Take someone to heaven with you. When was the last time you told someone how to get to heaven?
Until next time.
Your Life Is In You
What’s going on around you is the carnal world. Your job, family, activities – are all in this carnal world, this physical world. These things are not life. Everyone is the same and equal in God’s eyes in the physical world. All are sinners. There is none righteous, no not one.
The people in the physical world all seek the same things. If you would ask people, what is happiness? Most people would give similar answers. Their answers are generally based on life in this physical world – A good job, a decent home, plenty of food and water, family, love, financial means to enjoy life, and some even want power or things. Then what?
Your life is not what’s going on around you. Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the life. What’s going on around you is people, places and things in the world in a period of time. You are placed in this period of time. Just putting you in a period of time is not your life. Your life is in you, not what’s going on around you. Peter mentions this in 1 Peter 1:17. The context is holiness and living a holy life but Peter says, pass the time of your sojourning here….. Your life is in you and you are only passing through this world.
We all start in this world the same. Equal in God’s eyes. We are all born into sin, we are born sinners because we are all ancestors of Adam and Eve. At some point in our life God reveals himself to us and gives us his word to learn about him and life. We use our free will and either believe God or reject God. Those who choose to believe God and God’s record, his word, understand who Jesus Christ is and why he came to earth and that he is coming back. Many receive the free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord and most reject him. I know this from Matthew 7:13,14.
Once someone gets saved they have a new life. The saved and lost both have life but one has life with God and one has life without God. It is like the wheat and the tares growing up together. But one day God is going to separate those who are saved (the wheat) from the lost (the tares). The saved will have life for eternity with God and those who reject God will have life without God in the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:10-15 KJV “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are , and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
[11] And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
[12] And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
[13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
[14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
[15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
The things you had on earth will not matter. The world is not life. The things in this world are not life. And what is going on around you right now is not your life. Your life is in you. And what you do with what’s in you will determine where you go after your earthly body dies. We will look at this more next time.
What is Faint – Part 2 of 2
Did you ever look in practical terms? The heros of the faith did not faint. The list of people Paul mentions in Hebrews 11, did you look at the what and why of them? Let me explain from Hebrews 11.
Abel had a more excellent sacrifice. What made his sacrifice more excellent? It was a lamb? God created both sacrifices, Cain’s and Abel’s. What made Abel’s sacrifice “more excellent “? One word. Genesis 4:3,4 in KJV explains it – ” firstling”. Abel honored God by giving him of his “firstfruits”.
Noah did not see any evidence of a coming flood but he believed God and acted on what God said.
Do you believe what God says and act on it? Abraham and Sarah saw the promises God made to them “afar off”. Just like believers today see the promise of Jesus to meet us in the clouds in the air, ( 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18).
Notice in Hebrews 11:15 – ” if they had been mindful of the country they came out of, they might have gone back. ” If they thought about all the things in that country they came out of, they might have gone back. What could have persuaded them? Their mind. Put yourself in their shoes.
Leave the country you are in where you have all the modern conveniences, good job, benefits, your family and friends, because you believe something God tells you. Or are you mindful of your dreams and desires for your life? One of the hardest things is when you know God wants you to do something and you don’t want to do it.
Just as Abraham and Sarah were persuaded to go without seeing anything, they embraced and confessed what God said. You can go through the list of people and what you find, God lists their accomplishments –
They subdued kingdoms – wow.
Wrought righteousness
Obtained promises – Notice God kept his promises.
Stopped the mouths if lions.
Quenched the violence of fire.
Escaped the edge of the sword.
Out if weakness were made strong
Waxed valiant in fight
Women received their dead raised up.
Do you realize to achieve these things means they went through fires, swords, weakness, lions attacking, fights and even some died? All of this they went through for something God told them, promised them. Would you? God has made promises to us, the church. Are you more mindful of the pleasures of your world or are you focused on the promises of God?
After everything Paul mentions in Hebrews 11, he gives us the answer in Hebrews 12: 3
Hebrews 12:1-3 KJV “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us , and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
[2] Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
[3] For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.”
Friends, don’t get wearied. Weary means having strength exhausted, fatigue, impatient to continue. And faint means, weak, cowardly, depressed, feeble. Notice where we can get wearied and faint from 12:3? Your mind. Your mind. Do you get it? Your mind. Not what you see, not your circumstances, but your mind. The thoughts that come into your mind. Do thoughts that come into your mind cause you to be weak? Cowardly? Depressed? Feeble? Those thoughts, in your mind are not from God. Is the Lord your strength?
The key: You look to the word of God to cancel out the word (s) of man and how you get there is through believing and confessing God’s word until it gets from your head in to your heart so much that you know it . Then you will not get weary and faint in your mind.
Until next time, be blessed.
What is Faint? Part 1 of 2
When we try to accomplish things, whether for God, family, work or friends, we get frustrated some times. Some times it is like no matter what we do, we seem to battle. We try to teach someone something and it’s like we go over and over and over the same things and they still get it wrong. Frustrations set in and scripture calls it getting weary. Weary = having strength exhausted, impatient to continue, fatigue.
So I wondered why I was not seeing some things in my life change. I believe God, quote scripture every now and then over a situation and still nothing changed. So I wondered why? What am I doing wrong?
One of the best examples for learning the principles of faith is Hebrews 11. But this post is not about Hebrews 11 people per say, it is about the principle of faith. We know the people in Hebrews 11 had faith but what was it about their believing that is different from my believing. It is one thing to look at them as great men and woman of God but what about me. After all, I have been 33 years reading, studying and trying to apply God’s word, what am I doing wrong.
What amazes me is how you can go to church Sunday morning, Sunday night, Wednesday night, study God’s word daily, live for and serve God and have no clue after 33 years. There is definitely a break down somewhere.
When you look at the issues of life as a whole – people hurt. Husbands and wives break their promises and abandon their marriage vows, people loose their jobs, sickness or disease, brokenhearted, loss of loved ones and poverty. The list goes on and on and Jesus said basically, the well need not a physician. It is those who are sick, those with these life issues, heartaches, distresses they know not how to handle.
The legalist blames the person for their problems. They are like Job’s friends. You must have done something wrong or have this sin in your life and that’s why you have these problems. If Jesus paid for all my sin why would God still punish me? Yes I know the sowing and reaping principles. But that is not what Job’s problems were about. And chances are, not yours and mine either.
Let’s face it. When you do everything right, the best you know how according to God’s word, and still have failures, what’s wrong?
What makes the heroes of faith in Hebrews 11 different than me? Nothing. They believed God and I believe God. So what is different? Let me encourage you to read Hebrews 11 with a pen and paper. See if you can find the answer. It is there. And in the next post, I will share what God showed me to be the answer.
Until next time.
Does Earth Mirror Heaven Part 2 of 2
To say earth mirrors heaven would mean it is identical, like looking at your self in a mirror. Under that circumstance, I would gave to say no. There are things that are similar, but not mirror. The best example is explained by Paul to the Corinthians. They were trying to understand what believers who have died and gone to heaven look like in heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:35-58 KJV
But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
[36] Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
[37] And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain :
[38] But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
[39] All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
[40] There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
[41] There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
[42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
[43] It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
[44] It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
[45] And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
[46] Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
[47] The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
[48] As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
[49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
[51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
[53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
[54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
[55] O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
[56] The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
[57] But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
[58] Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Until next time.
Does Earth Mirror Heaven Part 1 of 2
1 Corinthians 15:35 KJV “But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?”
The example God gives us is seeds, “….and to every seed his own body.” 1Corinthians 15:38. The question is about the body, not the seed. What body are the dead raised with? So I considered:
Tomato seeds
Corn seeds
Beans
Animals have seeds inside them and so do people. God put a spiritual seed in all of mankind when he created man, Romans 1: 19,20. We all have a spirit, the breath of life. So deep inside, mankind knows there is a true God. They choose to reject or believe God.
When someone gets curious about God, or start seeking God and then they believe God and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour the Holy Spirit quickens or makes alive that seed and it grows just like a tender plant or a baby. At each stage of growth they are vulnerable to different attacks from predators from injury or harm. And so is it was a new believer.
With a plant, tomatoes, corn, beans – man chooses to cultivate , weed and nurture the plant or leave the plant alone – on its own. Eventually, the plant will grow and bring forth either a little yield, a harvest, or weeds will choke it out.
With a baby , most nurture and teach children but children are still vulnerable to injury or harm. Let’s face it, you are not with your child every second of every day. Then the child grows up. The child grown looks nothing like the seed that was originally planted. So is it with the believer.
The new believer grows up and looks nothing like the original seed planted. The difference here though – this is Spirit not flesh or carnal. The laws of nature say you plant a seed it will grow. Whether fruits, vegetables, animals or even human beings you plant a seed it will grow. God planted a spiritual seed in all of mankind so man is without excuse just like Romans 1:19,20 say. So the question is – if all of mankind has a spiritual seed from God, why do some get saved and some don’t?
Remember, the word of God is also seed – Luke 8:11 KJV “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.”
When you take the seed of the word of God and you put it with the spiritual seed God planted in you at birth what brings it all to life? Hebrews 4:2 KJV “For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it .” Those who by faith truly believe in their heart.
If someone does not believe the word of God they can not have faith because – Romans 10:17 KJV “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
So if one does not believe God’s word, then they can not mix God’s word with faith. And then the spiritual seed God put in them stays dead. And their body will still grow but they are dead to the things of God. And with the constant watering down of God’s word with all these “new” translations, we can understand what the prophet Amos said, Amos 8:11 KJV “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God , that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord :”
But this post is more about the body. When grown up, the tomato seed, corn seed, bean seed, animal seed and even human seed look physically different than when it was planted. These seeds grow and their outward appearance changes as they grow. For the believer, our outward appearance also changes but so does our inward man. Our inward man is renewed day by day.
So let’s look at a potato. Potatoes have white skins, brown skins, red skins, yellow skins. The color of the skin distinguishes what type of potato they are. But peel the skins off. They are pretty much alike. Some are softer some more firm.
The world looks at the outward appearance and judges. God peels the skin off and looks at the inside. And for the believer, the inside is different. Why? Because believers are alive unto God. So God clothes us with a new body. No longer male or female, Jew or Gentile but one in Christ. So do the things of earth mirror the things in heaven? Now that the ground work is laid, we will cover that in Part 2.
Guidelines
Setting guidelines for life.
Psalm 19:7-14 KJV “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
[8] The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
[9] The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
[10] More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
[11] Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
[12] Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults .
[13] Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins ; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
[14] Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord , my strength, and my redeemer.
Choices Without Strings
Maybe it is my imagination but did you ever think about a puppet escaping? The story of Pinocchio is Disney’s version. Me, I was thinking about God and man. God is not some puppet master and mankind his puppets. That would not be a relationship. Now if the strings were cut and the puppet escaped? Could the puppet make his own choices?
People ask, if God is such a loving God, why did he create evil? Why is there sickness and pain? Why disease and death?
Isaiah 45:6-9 KJV “That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord , and there is none else.
[7] I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things .
[8] Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it.
[9] Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?”
The answer is clear from these verses, free will to choose. Light or darkness, peace or evil, let righteousness spring up together, it is about man choosing. A puppet master does not allow a puppet to choose. As for sickness and disease, there was a curse put on the earth from sin because of Adam, Eve and Satan deceiving them and the whole earth groans scripture says.
If God wanted puppets or robots, he would have made them. He didn’t. He made mankind with a free will to choose. It is like cutting the strings on a puppet and the puppet escapes. What does the puppet do? Where does the puppet go?
Parents are like a puppet master. They have restraints, strings, on their children. But the time comes when the parents cut the strings and set their children free. Parents hope and pray their children make the right choices.
God gives us several examples of choices he wants us to make but sometimes, people make the wrong choices.
God tells us to choose life Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV ” I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”
Do you see heaven and earth are making a record of your choices? We are told to choose who we will serve in our life, Joshua 24:15 KJV “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord , choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord .”
We also see there are times we do not know what choice we should make. What do we do? God answers that in Psalm 25:12 KJV “What man is he that feareth the Lord ? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.”
Notice God promises to teach him in the way that he should choose, not make the choice for him but show him the way to make the decision. There are times when God makes the choice for us. Who rules, leaders, what type of judgment to send.
When King David was asked to make a decision on what punishment God should send, David didn’t focus on punishment, he focused on God’s mercy. God gave David 3 choices: famine for 3 years, your enemies overtake you for 3 months or pestilence for 3 days. David told God he did not want his enemies to overtake him but he knew God was merciful. So he told God, you decide. You can read it in 1 Chronicles 21: 9 – 30.
And Paul the apostle? He even explained he chooses things he wished he wouldn’t. We see clearly, most Old Testament choices were focused on life in the world. New Testament choices Paul explains are spiritual based. Another words, think spiritually not earthly.
Philippians 1:22-23 KJV “But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
[23] For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:”
Unlike the Old Testament where choices were made to follow God and conquer lands, build the temple, serve the Lord and keep the law, the New Testament choices are based in spiritual matters. Yes, we live in this world like they did in the Old Testament. But they were focused on things in the world. We are told that although we are in the world, we are not part of the world.
Our decisions should be spirit based. And that is why we should not get caught up in the cares of this world. Our decisions should be laying treasures up in heaven where moth and dust does not corrupt.
God is not our puppet master. The law was the puppet master. But Jesus Christ is the end of the law for salvation. He cut the strings on all of us so we have escaped. Do we run away or do we look up and ask God to teach us the answers we seek?
Until next time.
